Boston Hadoop Meetup

The first meeting of the Boston Hadoop Meetup is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, October 28th, 7 pm, at the HubSpot offices:

Apache Hadoop Get Together @ Berlin

The Apache Hadoop user group Berlin just announced a new meeting.

Talks scheduled so far:

  • Thorsten Schuett, Solving Puzzles with MapReduce.
  • Thilo Götz, Text analytics on jaql.
  • Uwe Schindler, Lucene 2.9 Developments: Numeric Search, Per-Segment- and Near-Real-Time Search, new TokenStream API.
